Maker movement and IoT for music education: possibilities with 3D printing, software processing and Arduino
Resumo
The chapter is directed to educators who work with music in a specific
way, but other teachers can also adapt ideas for their area of performance. It is an incentive
for the teacher to enter the so-called maker movement and to consider the Internet
of Things (IoT) among the possibilities of creating teaching-learning strategies. After presenting
these concepts, the text addresses three major technologies to be used in this context, always seeking to be as accessible as possible to the lay public in these technologies.
There will be a presentation on 3D Printing, Language and IDE Processing and Arduino.
Afterwards, fourteen categories of usable ideas for music education are presented in the
context of the maker movement and IoT. Also, it is also presented some ideas for the
teachers to go through in order to appropriate these technologies and use them in their
day-to-day professional life.
Então, têm lugar a apresentação
