A dystopic reading of the Platonic social engineering in Philosophy of Human Rights
Resumo
Based on the study of the social program subjacent to Politeia and Nomoi, we propose a characterization of the Platonic dystopia that transcends its metaphysic dualism, following the Popperian interpretation line, with the intent to better weigh the Athenian’s contribute to the Philosophy of Human Rights. We focus particularly on the engineering of citizens and slaves’ education and communication channels, under the aegis of totalitarianism and nomocracy.
