Paragenetic analysis and classification of granitic pegmatites from Central-Iberian Hercynian Belt
Resumo
Considering the pegmatites distribution at the Hercynian Province, the Central-
-Iberian Pegmatite Belt (CIPB) is a second order regional and geologic division.
The third Hercynian deformation phase and related granite intrusions determine
its cartographic configuration. Reference lineaments are locally deflected by granite
plutons. Occasionally, granite generates severe thermal anomalies, conditioning the
stability and evolution of paragenesis at the surrounding pegmatite systems which
leads to specific relations between inner organisation and lithologic diversity at
each pegmatite swarm.
Mineralogy and internal structure at the individual pegmatite bodies are the
result of propagation of residual granite geochemical anomalies, evolutionary trends
and specialisation. The relationship between the diverse pegmatite groups and
classes and the genetically linked granites has a good expression in several criteria
o f description such as: age distribution, geological and structural environment of
pegmatite emplacement, relation to metamorphism, zoning at the pegmatite groups,
chemical composition of aplite-pegmatites and shape, size and internal structure
of the pegmatite bodies.
As a consequence the diverse framework synthesis for CIPB pegmatites have
a typological capability, which reflects the Petrogenetic and metalogenetic trends
specific of the variable pegmatite generating granites.
